This summer and fall of 2025, the renowned painter and sculptor Ramón Lapayese’s work will come to life through five exhibitions in various European cities, including Naples, Santa Pola, Milan, Venice, and Florence. These showcases, which present an overview of his artistic journey, will display a total of four sculptures, fourteen paintings, and one lithograph, allowing the public to rediscover the technical diversity and expressiveness of Lapayese’s work.
The Italian cultural organization Divulgarti, led by Loredana Trestin, has selected pieces from the artist’s private collection that have not been shown since 2007. This exhibition series includes a smaller solo exhibition in Spain and four others in Italy, providing enthusiasts the chance to witness up to nineteen of his creations from July to October of 2025. Each exhibition space has been meticulously curated to offer a rich experience for both the general public and art collectors and professionals.
Simultaneously, Lapayese’s official website has been updated, featuring over 800 high-resolution images of his work, as well as art critiques and archival materials including historical posters of his exhibitions. A blog has also been launched and will be updated monthly with curatorial reflections, news, and analyses of his works, aiming to connect further with younger generations.
As part of this strategy, the platform introduces an online store that features t-shirts and textile items with never-before-seen designs by Lapayese, derived from sketches and mixed media techniques. These items will expand the reach of his work, allowing fans and collectors to enjoy his legacy in various formats.
Lapayese, known for his figurative style and personal interpretation of painting, has received numerous awards throughout his career. With more than 70 solo exhibitions and over 120 group shows, his work has made an indelible mark on the history of contemporary art.
With these exhibitions and the digital platform’s modernization, Ramón Lapayese embarks on a new phase, bringing his artistic legacy closer to contemporary audiences and reaffirming his relevance today.
