5 trends to transform your home seen in Casa Decor – Interior decoration

In 2026, Casa Decor reaffirms its role as one of the main showcases of the trends that will shape the world of decoration during the year. In this new edition, the focus is on a more reflective and conscious vision of design, where materials, textures, and the atmosphere of spaces take on greater importance compared to a purely visual aesthetic.

The proposals presented show a transformation in the way homes are conceived: they opt for environments with personality, harmony, and a more authentic relationship with the surroundings. In this context, ARTE, a Belgian firm specializing in wall coverings, stands out as one of the reference brands by demonstrating how these elements can transcend their decorative function and become the focal point that articulates and gives identity to a space.

1. Spaces that invite relaxation

ARTE covers one of the most outstanding spaces at Casa Decor 2026, “Estratos,” designed by AIA Activitats Arquitectòniques for the Tarimatec Space, conceived as a journey that invites you to stop and experience.

Their coverings bring texture and depth to the project through designs like Allagi, Abydos, Gizeh, Kashmir, or Terre de Lin, which introduce visual and tactile nuances. The result is an immersive space where materiality defines a calm atmosphere and the coverings become a key element of the whole.

2. Walls as the protagonists of the room

The JYSK Space – Living room with patio “La del patio” recovers the story of a young woman who found her refuge in this place, reinterpreting it as a sensory environment where tradition and nature coexist in harmony. Materials like wood and stone, along with curved shapes and warm lighting, create an immersive atmosphere designed for well-being.

In this context, the Armalu covering, from the Icarus collection, introduces a landscape of Sicilian inspiration with scenes of symbolic character, featuring a mythical animal and wrapped in a vintage aesthetic that adds depth and narrative to the space.

3. Kitchens full of personality and textures

“La Cuisine Bourgogne Dorée,” the Trae Space designed by Inmaculada Recio Studio for Casa Decor, proposes a new way of understanding the kitchen as a meeting place where materials, light, and balance define the experience.

The wall coverings by ARTE become one of the key elements of the space, adding texture and character. Designs like Calcaire Stucco, with its sandy finish; Miro, with wood bead embroidery; Mandu, recreating the look of linen; or Atuona, with its herringbone pattern of jute and paper, introduce tactile and visual nuances that enrich the whole. The result is a kitchen that transcends functionality to become a sensory experience.

4. Making the most of small spaces

The space “La Loge de Joséphine,” designed by Top Design Studio for La Redoute at Casa Decor, is inspired by the dressing room of an artist in the Montparnasse of the golden years, taking as a reference the universe of Josephine Baker. The project recreates that intimate moment before the stage, a moment of pause and reconnection where the classic vanity transforms into a contemporary refuge that balances theatricality and calm.

In this ensemble, the ARTE coverings play a key role, adding depth and character to the space through proposals like Les Tapisseries, Agra, Botanic, and Palma, introducing visual layers that enrich the sensory experience of the vanity.

5. Explosion of color

“The rhythm of silence,” the Intro by Chak space for Casa Decor, proposes architecture that guides the journey through arches and perspective planes, generating depth and a natural transition from movement to calm.

The project opts for essential and timeless architecture, and the ARTE coverings, Kerala, Alba Bark, Batouri, Kashmir, and Sombra, add texture and nuances, seamlessly integrating into a space where each element responds to a precise logic.
