Announcement of Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 26120.3872 in the Beta Channel

Microsoft has announced the release of the new version of Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 26120.3872 (KB5055640) for the Beta channel, specifically designed for users participating in the Windows Insiders program in version 24H2. This update, which will be rolled out gradually, brings a series of innovations and significant improvements that will enhance the user experience.

One of the key features of this update is a revamped co-pilot experience, which introduces textual actions in the functionality known as “Click to Do.” This tool has been enhanced to include an option that allows users to practice their reading fluency and pronunciation through the “Practice in Reading Coach” feature. Users can now select on-screen text and receive specific feedback to enhance their reading skills. Additionally, the “Read with Immersive Reader” action is included, offering a more enriching reading experience by eliminating distractions and allowing users to customize the displayed text format.

Another major improvement in this update is the ability for users to locate photos stored in the cloud through Windows search. This functionality, now available to Insiders in the European Economic Area, enables users to search for cloud images using their own descriptions, making it easier to locate multimedia files in both the cloud and local storage.

Furthermore, advancements have been made in voice access, allowing users to add personalized words to the dictionary, which helps increase dictation accuracy. Changes have also been implemented to improve the visibility and accessibility of voice features within the application. As for Windows search, it is now possible to disable cloud search from the privacy and security settings, giving users more control over their experience.

As part of this update, Microsoft has also addressed several reported issues, including failures in the start menu and file explorer, as well as optimizations in the user interface during the loading process.

Users participating in the Windows Insiders program should enable the option to receive the latest updates through the Windows Update settings if they wish to access these new features. It is expected that, after evaluating user feedback, these improvements will be rolled out to a wider audience in future updates.
