Asho Celebrates 25 Years of Commitment to Academic Training in Clinical Coding

ASHO, a leading company in clinical coding, commemorates 25 years of commitment to specialized training in the healthcare field, establishing itself as a benchmark in the sector. With over 30 years of experience and a notable market share of 47%, ASHO has built relationships with more than 300 hospitals and healthcare centers, distinguishing itself through its innovative services in hospital information systems, which optimize management and the work of clinical professionals.

Ruth Cuscó, the company’s managing director, emphasizes the intention to continue investing in human talent and infrastructure to enhance services for hospitals. “Our goal is to strengthen hospital bureaucracy and prepare new generations to integrate into the healthcare ecosystem,” says Cuscó, highlighting the importance of appropriate training in this constantly evolving field.

To celebrate its anniversary, ASHO has announced new dates for its Clinical Coding Workshop Course, specifically dedicated to Traumatology and Burns. This workshop, scheduled for June 26-28, 2025, will be led by Dr. Jesús Trancoso, a nationally recognized expert in clinical coding. Trancoso, who is part of the Technical Unit of ICD 10 ES, will bring his extensive experience in training sector professionals.

The growing digitalization in hospitals has created an urgent demand for highly qualified personnel in emerging areas, prompting ASHO to implement a new edition of the Workshop Course. This three-day course, consisting of 20 hours of training, is designed for those wishing to specialize in clinical coding and attract new talent to the sector. Cuscó emphasizes the importance of training well-prepared professional profiles to prevent collapses in the care system, such as the one experienced in 2020.

With these initiatives, ASHO not only reaffirms its leadership in the field of clinical coding but also commits to training new generations of professionals, preparing them to face future challenges in the healthcare sector.
