Ener2Crowd, an innovative platform dedicated to investing in sustainable energy, has announced a strategic collaboration with Apadrinaunolivo.org, an organization focused on the recovery of ancient olive trees and the revitalization of rural areas. This alliance aims to address climate change by promoting a sustainable future and encouraging responsible investment practices.
The collaboration scheme establishes that for every investor who allocates 500 euros or its multiple to the projects available on the Ener2Crowd platform, a portion of those funds will be directed to Apadrinaunolivo.org. This initiative is part of the Energy Forest project, which Ener2Crowd carries out to support local communities and preserve biodiversity.
Since the start of this collaboration, 12 olive trees have been adopted and 5,520 kg of CO2 emissions have been avoided. These efforts have also generated 43 jobs, highlighting the positive impact that the collaboration has on the development of rural areas.
Alessandro Miori, country manager of Ener2Crowd in Spain, emphasized the platform’s commitment: “We support the energy transition in our country and contribute to the fight against climate change through investments in 100% green projects.” Miori also stressed the importance of partnering with entities that share similar values to achieve their goals.
On the other hand, José Alfredo Martín, representative of Apadrinaunolivo.org, expressed his enthusiasm for working with Ener2Crowd: “We are delighted to collaborate with entities that share our values and vision for the future. These synergies are crucial to continue our fight for a rural environment full of life.”
Furthermore, Ener2Crowd has committed to minimizing its environmental impact by promoting sustainable events and activities. In order to offset emissions that cannot be avoided, the company calculates its carbon footprint and participates in reforestation by planting trees, extending this collaboration to Apadrinaunolivo.org.
These actions are part of Ener2Crowd’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and social welfare, in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The platform also recently participated in the European Climate Investment Week in 2024, an event designed to raise awareness about climate change and motivate citizens and organizations to take concrete actions towards the energy transition.
