Columna Edicions has announced the release of the second edition of “Love Letters,” a project that captured the public’s attention following the success of its first installment. This new volume will be published in April 2026, coinciding with the celebration of Sant Jordi, and invites the community once again to participate by sending handwritten letters.
The “Love Letters” phenomenon began in 2024, inspired by the epistolary novel “Now, and Every Tomorrow” by Glòria Gasch, which resonated deeply with readers. This work, composed of letters and silences, sparked a renewed interest in letter writing, encouraging many to recall letters they had saved and those still to be written. The editor noted that “everyone had a letter saved. And everyone had a letter waiting to be written,” reflecting its impact on society.
The initiative has become a tribute to handwriting, serving as a vehicle to share emotions like longing, gratitude, and love. This space has evolved into a collective catharsis where words flow authentically and personally.
To participate, interested individuals must write their letters by hand and send them via postal mail to the address of Columna Edicions in Barcelona. The deadline for submitting letters is November 15, 2025, and a selection of the most significant ones will be included in the second volume of “Love Letters.” This project aims not only to revive the tradition of epistolary writing but also to foster emotional connections that transcend time and distance.
