District Studio brings back its popular Beach WOD training for another summer.

The sports chain Distrito Estudio has once again organized its Beach WOD sessions this summer, the sports activity organized by the brand that has been so successful in previous seasons, combining sport and enjoyment on the beach. The chain has already held these training sessions on the beaches of Lourido in Pontevedra, O Vao in Vigo, as well as in Malaga and Valencia.

Beach WOD combines functional training, working the muscles of the whole body through a complete strength and endurance exercise routine, from the lower body and legs to the abdomen and upper body, mixing exercises on land, swimming, and sports equipment.

The beach offers added benefits to the training, as the sand is much more unstable and malleable than the ground where training is usually done indoors, making the athlete work on improving their balance and stability. Additionally, training in this environment requires greater effort in movement, increasing the level of exertion, leading to a higher caloric burn, significantly improving physical and mental fitness.

Lasting 90 minutes, Beach WOD sessions are led by specially trained coaches. After the initial warm-up, the training continues with specific leg exercises, followed by core and upper body work, mixing cardio and strength exercises, both on the sand and in the sea.

Distrito Estudio has designed this training for all its clients, regardless of their age or physical condition, promoting health and fun in the best possible environment for this time of year.

Beach WOD joins the wide range of activities that the brand offers to its clients throughout the year, including WOD, Bootcamp, Yoga, Pilates, and D45 among others.

Additionally, Distrito Estudio plans to organize new summer activities at other centers such as hiking routes, escape rooms, natural pools, and even a fun Yellow Humor class.
