The Toledo-based company Emcesa has decided to reinforce its team with a 15% increase in its staff to face the Christmas season, a crucial period for the demand for meat products and special recipes. This increase aims to ensure that the quality of the service and products is not compromised during the peak weeks of consumption.
Javier Mancebo, CEO of Emcesa, stated that this initiative responds to the need to anticipate the growth in demand. “We want to make sure that the production peaks typical of these dates do not affect either the quality or the service. Having a reinforced team is fundamental to maintain our standards and continue offering our customers the excellence they expect,” Mancebo affirmed. With this measure, the company seeks to consolidate its position in the market and meet consumer expectations.
Most of the new hires have been made in Castilla-La Mancha, specifically in the province of Toledo, where the Emcesa plant is located. This reflects the company’s commitment to job creation in the region and to local economic reactivation.
A notable aspect of this expansion is that 36% of the new employees are women, aligning with the company’s equality plan and its strong dedication to promoting diversity. This action aims to increase female representation in the staff and move towards a better gender balance at all levels of the organization.
The new workers will mainly be integrated into the butchery and manufacture of Christmas fillings sections, receiving specific training in areas such as food safety, hygiene, traceability, and internal protocols. This training is essential to ensure the quality of the products in a high demand period.
Meanwhile, Emcesa is already working on the production of its Christmas specialties, combining traditional methods with innovative techniques to maintain the flavor and quality that characterize the brand. This expansion of the staff places Emcesa in a strong position to face one of the most demanding challenges of the year in the food sector, reiterating its commitment to local employment, equal opportunities, and quality in its products at a critical moment for the company.
