Envapro unveils its innovative ‘waste-reducing’ food packaging at HIP.

Envapro is gearing up for its debut at the upcoming edition of the HIP (Horeca Professional Expo) fair, which will take place from March 10th to 12th at Ifema Madrid. The company will be presenting its innovative line of ‘anti-waste’ food packaging, designed to help bars and restaurants comply with the imminent Food Loss and Waste Prevention law. This regulation, which is in the final stages of approval in Parliament, will require establishments to offer customers leftovers for free.

In order to adapt to this new legislation, Envapro has developed a range of cardboard packaging with an attractive ‘kraft effect’. These containers are suitable for both cold and hot foods and are geared towards sustainable use, thus contributing to the reduction of food waste. Envapro’s stand at the fair, which will occupy a space of 80 m², will not only showcase these innovative containers, but also a wide range of solutions for takeout food service, including cardboard and sugarcane packaging, wooden cutlery, and paper bags, all designed with an ecological focus.

One of the highlights of Envapro’s stand will be the live broadcast of the radio program ‘Más de Uno’ from Onda Cero Madrid on March 11th. The well-known presenter Agustín Bravo will have the participation of prominent representatives from the restaurant and packaging world, including organizations such as World Central Kitchen, Facyre, Do EAT, Hola Coffee, and Ecoembes. In addition, Carlos Ortiz, Envapro’s Strategy Director, will give a presentation on business innovation at the New Business & Concepts auditorium, where he will share his vision on growth and profitability in companies.

Visitors to Envapro’s stand will also have the opportunity to taste products from brands such as Icesoft, DuckYou, and Merecumbé, adding further value to the company’s proposition at the fair. The presence of important international manufacturers like Safira, Trendpack, and KMK reaffirms Envapro’s commitment to sustainability within the Horeca sector.

In its ninth edition, the HIP fair has established itself as one of the most relevant events in Spain for the hospitality industry, expecting to gather more than 800 exhibiting firms and attract over 50,000 industry professionals. With its pioneering focus on sustainable packaging, Envapro positions itself as a benchmark in the transition towards more responsible practices in the food industry.
