Geekvape publishes its First Carbon Neutrality Report and Joins the SBTi

Geekvape announced its first Carbon Neutrality Action Report and joined the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) in an effort to combat global climate change and promote sustainable development in the vaping industry.

On July 25th, the company officially published its Carbon Neutrality Action Report, committing to achieve operational carbon neutrality by 2035 and across its value chain by 2050. Additionally, Geekvape formalized its commitment to the SBTi initiative on June 20th, marking a milestone as the first privately held vaping company globally to join this initiative.

In the report, Geekvape details various emission reduction pathways and action plans aimed at achieving its carbon neutrality goals. The company has implemented specific measures in multiple areas, such as sustainable product design, green manufacturing, product recycling, and low-carbon operations, as well as a sustainable supply chain. The company aims to continue these actions and collaborate with partners along the value chain to systematically fulfill its objectives.

During the R&D and design phase, Geekvape has adopted the concept of sustainable product design, incorporating product platforms, component modularization, and design standardization. In the production realm, it has reduced carbon emissions through lean production, energy management systems, and energy-saving technologies. Product recycling initiatives, low-carbon office practices, and community services focused on sustainable development have also been promoted. In addition, Geekvape’s smart industrial park offices have received LEED Platinum certification, the highest recognition for commercial interiors.

Allen, CEO and Chairman of the Geekvape Sustainable Development Committee, emphasized, “To achieve this ambitious goal, we will integrate green and low-carbon concepts at every stage of our product lifecycle, improving production quality and efficiency. We will also strengthen our supply chain management and its resilience. Looking ahead, we will seize opportunities in transitioning to a low-carbon model and incorporate these concepts into our corporate culture, contributing to the sustainable development of the industry and society.”
