Informal Meetings of EFF Activists: Brooklyn 2024

On September 25th, Brooklyn will become the meeting point for digital rights advocates, as the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) will host an informal event known as Speakeasy. This gathering aims to bring together users, activists, and professionals committed to defending digital freedoms.

The meeting is completely free and promises to be an excellent opportunity for attendees to learn about EFF’s latest work in defending online freedoms. Participants will be able to interact with lawyers, activists, and technologists who are part of this organization, globally recognized for their work in promoting digital and civil rights.

Current EFF members in the New York area will receive an email with all the event details. Those who have not received the invitation can contact the organization through an email address dedicated to answering any questions about the event.

This meeting is held at least twice a year and aims to thank EFF members for their support, as well as foster a spirit of camaraderie among freedom advocates on the internet. EFF invites those who are not yet members to join and participate in building a better future for privacy, innovation, and freedom of expression.

The organization emphasizes its commitment to a safe and harassment-free environment for all attendees, and encourages participants to review their expectations and policies for the event. The Speakeasy represents an ideal opportunity to celebrate the community of those fighting for freedom in the digital space.
