Kora Living: Black Friday Transformed into Solidarity Energy for Africa and Growth in Spain

Kora Living has decided to reinvent Black Friday, allocating 10% of its direct bookings to the EKI Foundation, whose goal is to promote solar energy projects in sub-Saharan African communities. This campaign, titled “Travel for Good – 0% OFF”, will take place from November 13 to December 9, promoting purposeful travel and reaffirming its commitment to sustainability.

The initiative represents not only financial support to the EKI Foundation, which carries out clean energy projects in schools and hospitals, but also a strategic change in Kora Living. Kepa Apraiz, CEO of the brand, points out that this action aims to generate a positive impact through responsible tourism, emphasizing that “every action has a positive consequence in the community”.

The EKI Foundation has implemented more than 160 projects in 20 countries, providing access to solar energy in areas lacking basic services. Ignacio Mingo, director of the foundation, highlighted the importance of this collaboration, indicating that each booking made during Black Friday will contribute to improving education and health in needy regions.

In this context of social responsibility, Kora Living is in a phase of expansion, with new openings scheduled in Tenerife, Valencia, and Andorra. On December 1, the launch of Kora Tigot in Tenerife is planned, a complex that will have 88 apartments designed under sustainability and energy efficiency parameters. The company also projects significant growth, aiming to reach 2,500 managed accommodation units by 2027.

With its focus on conscientious and responsible hospitality, Kora Living demonstrates that business growth can go hand in hand with a genuine commitment to the community and the environment, thus redefining the future of tourism.
