Doctrina Qualitas has signed an agreement with the Spanish Association of Naturology and Biotherapies (APENB) in an effort to improve educational quality and academic recognition in this growing sector. This agreement aims to promote access to the Educational Quality Seal EQS-APENB, allowing professionals in the field to incorporate foreign university diplomas, such as those from the United States, into their curricula.
APENB will facilitate the certification and auditing of educational institutions associated with it, carried out by DQ Certifications, an entity specialized in educational quality. Upon completion of the auditing process, these institutions will receive a seal that endorses their compliance with current European standards. The new EQS-APENB Seal will establish itself as a reference point in Naturology and Biotherapies.
This seal is recognized in Spain, the United States, and several countries in Latin America and Asia, and it is applicable to universities and training centers. Students trained at centers associated with APENB will be able to obtain the International University Certificate DQ, as well as diplomas from three accredited universities: Sabal University in the United States, Universidad de las Naciones in Mexico, and ISTE in Ecuador.
Both organizations have emphasized the growing need for regulation in a sector that is experiencing an increase in the number of professionals and training centers. The inclusion of international university diplomas will not only strengthen the credibility of therapists but also facilitate access to higher education programs through equivalencies. While academic recognition in Spain has progressed slowly, in countries like the U.S. and Mexico, these practices are more common.
This agreement represents a strategic collaboration. For DQ, it represents a new opportunity within an expanding field, while for APENB, partnering with a prestigious institution like DQ is a symbol of commitment to excellence and support for its members. This alliance also promises to increase the visibility of professionals on an international level, a beneficial aspect in an increasingly interconnected world.
The agreement was ratified by Dr. h.c. Alejandro Truébano, CEO of Doctrina Qualitas, and Mr. Marcos Vélez Cabezuelo, President of APENB, marking a milestone in the natural therapies sector and opening new pathways for professional development in this field.
