This announcement was made on the first day of the SLS competition in Paris, showcasing both entities’ commitment to the skate community and their interest in promoting creativity and innovation.

The new alliance reinforces Samsung and SLS’s goal of making a positive impact on people’s lives through technology. Since the beginning of their collaboration with the “Open Always Wins” campaign, both organizations have come together in a long-term program that will include events across multiple continents. This agreement will allow SLS to provide Samsung with ongoing cultural insights and participate in the creation of products specifically for the skateboarding world.

To further boost this alliance, Olympic medalists Jagger Eaton and Rayssa Leal will join the Team Samsung Galaxy as ambassadors. Eaton, known for his versatility, mentioned that progress in skateboarding involves maintaining an open mindset, a principle that lies at the core of this collaboration. Meanwhile, Leal emphasized the importance of freedom of expression in skateboarding and how Samsung supports this vision.
