Schaeffler Recognizes Its Exceptional Suppliers

Schaeffler held its Supplier Day in Herzogenaurach, Germany, an event that recognized the outstanding performance of 15 suppliers with the Schaeffler Supplier Award 2025. The ceremony, which took place in the context of the merger with Vitesco Technologies, attracted approximately 320 participants and highlighted the importance of collaboration in an increasingly complex business environment.

The event was presided over by Georg F. W. Schaeffler, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, and Andreas Schick, COO of the company, who presented awards in five distinct categories: Sustainability, Supply Chain, Quality, Values, and Innovation, under the motto “United in Motion.” Schick emphasized that cooperation with suppliers is essential for Schaeffler’s success, especially in developing innovative solutions to address global challenges.

In the Sustainability category, Deutsche Edelstahlwerke GmbH Co. KG and Suzhou Barnett were recognized for their commitments to climate neutrality. In the Supply Chain category, Zhejing ChengChuang Precision Ma. Co. Ltd., Ningbo Hongxie Corporation Ltd., and Murata Manufacturing Co. Ltd. were honored for their stability and timeliness in deliveries. The Quality category awarded BBS Automation, Berger Holding GmbH & Co. KG, and Nexperia BV for their outstanding performance in manufacturing processes.

Additionally, in the Values category, Tyrolit Schleifmittelwerke, Strojmetal Singen GmbH, Brück GmbH, and Alt (Jiangsu) Industrial Co. Ltd. were recognized, while Idemitsu Kosan Co. Ltd., Brand KG, and WUS PCB were valued in the Innovation category.

This event reiterates the importance of cultivating long-term relationships between Schaeffler and its partners, emphasizing that working together is fundamental for sustainable growth and technological advancement in the industry.
