On April 5th, more than 80 professionals from diverse fields such as education, health, and technology gathered at a pioneering event in the Hispanic community called SocIA. This digital experience focused on artificial intelligence and personal development, spanning seven hours and offering an immersive and transformative approach that aimed to merge artificial intelligence with the professional identity of the participants.
SocIA was driven by Valerio García, founder of Familias Empresarias, and Juan Carlos Castro, CEO of the International School of Neurotrainer. This event proposed an innovative approach that goes beyond common technological applications, focusing not only on increasing productivity through the use of artificial intelligence, but also on inviting attendees to think alongside this technology, thus elevating their awareness and creativity. To achieve this, a methodology known as CAD —Question, Anticipate, and Deconstruct— was applied, promoting the activation of what its creators have termed “active intelligence”, facilitating an internal dialogue enriched with tools such as ChatGPT and DeepSeek.
The event stood out for the intense interaction among participants, who exchanged over 3,200 messages in the available chat and experienced moments of emotion that translated into over 200 expressions of emotional impact. Attendees’ testimonies reflected a noticeable transformation, with many connecting with parts of themselves they previously were unaware of, and recognizing that artificial intelligence can serve as a vehicle for achieving clarity and self-awareness.
With the vision of democratizing access to artificial intelligence that enhances human identity, the organizers of SocIA aim to establish a movement that brings together entrepreneurs, coaches, and therapists, integrating technology with both a strategic and emotional perspective. They are already laying the groundwork for a founding community that will drive innovation through retreats, advanced training, and the development of personalized AI agents.
Valerio García and Juan Carlos Castro have stated that this event marks “the beginning of a paradigm shift”. According to them, SocIA represents a “statement of principles” in which the integration of the human and the digital becomes a tangible reality. The founders argue that “the future is human with AI, and it begins now,” positioning this initiative as a benchmark in the pursuit of a balance between technology and personal development.
