Coinciding with the start of the 2025-2026 school year, Audi Spain has launched the eleventh edition of the Audicrea Challenge, the leading social innovation competition aimed at students in compulsory secondary education (ESO), high school, and medium-level vocational training (CFGM). Since its inception, Audicrea has created a space for young people to develop creative ideas aimed at improving the well-being of both individuals and the environment, posing this year’s question: How can we innovate socially to achieve these goals?
This year’s challenge spans a variety of critical areas, including recycling and responsible consumption, equitable access to food and energy, preservation of seas and ecosystems, as well as social and labor inclusion for individuals with diverse abilities. It also focuses on respect for diversity and the prevention of bullying and gender violence, addressing issues that reflect the concerns of youth in Spain in the context of climate change and other social challenges.
Registration for the competition is open to all students in ESO, high school, and CFGM, who can sign up through their educational institutions or individually on the official Audicrea website. The competition will take place online, utilizing the Lombard Method, an educational approach designed to enhance creativity and facilitate understanding of the innovation process, as well as to develop entrepreneurial and communication skills.
In addition to fostering a culture of effort, the Audicrea Challenge promotes a collaborative spirit and competitiveness based on teamwork values. Participation and registration are completely free. During the competition, the ten best ideas from the teams that complete the five phases of the challenge will be selected to compete in a grand final scheduled for June 2026. The winners will have the opportunity to embark on an educational trip to the United States, where they will attend an exclusive course on creativity and innovation at the Imagine Creativity Center in San Francisco. This experience will allow them to develop their projects with the guidance of mentors and enjoy the collaborative environment at renowned companies like Apple, Instagram, Google, and Netflix, in addition to participating in workshops offered by Stanford and Berkeley universities.
Audi’s social commitment is evident in its desire to contribute to a more constructive future. The Audicrea Challenge is a clear example of the company’s dedication to social innovation and promoting a creative culture among new generations, thus supporting emerging talent. Throughout its ten editions, the program has engaged over 14,000 students and 4,600 teams from across Spain, who have developed initiatives to tackle social, environmental, and cultural challenges.
In addition to the competition, Audicrea also conducts other initiatives such as Audicrea Start, an incubation program for social projects, and Audicrea Academy, a space for educators offering online lectures on educational transformation. Through these actions, Audi reaffirms its commitment to youth, innovation, and social progress, promoting not only new models of mobility but also new ways of thinking and acting to build a more conscious future.
