The resurgence of strategies: The Dawn has arrived in Teamfight Tactics as a temporary mode.

‘Renacer: Dawn of the Heroes’ will light up the Convergence starting on September 25, 2024.

‘Renacer: Dawn of the Heroes’ is a new temporary game mode in Teamfight Tactics that will bring refreshing twists to the gameplay experience and a new progression system based on the mid-update of the 5th set of Teamfight Tactics, ‘Judgment Day: Dawn of the Heroes’. ‘Renacer: Dawn of the Heroes’ will be available on both PC and mobile devices from September 25 to November 4, 2024.

The dawn light is approaching with Teamfight Tactics (TFT), the world’s most popular PC strategy game that will bring back ‘Judgment Day: Dawn of the Heroes’ with its latest set rebirth. Set rebirths are temporary game modes that serve to revitalize past champions and attributes from previous sets. To achieve this, Teamfight Tactics implements what it has learned from modern TFT to enhance the players’ experience.

‘Renacer: Dawn of the Heroes’ in Teamfight Tactics will offer players the following features:

– Rebirth ranking: a new progression system where players can unlock new ranks and free rewards based on skill and performance in TFT’s rebirth game mode.
– Updated ceremony: the Heroic Pingu will appear on the board and grant blessings to help players improve their units.
– Enhancements from the new set rebirth: in the original set, enhancements did not exist, but ‘Renacer: Dawn of the Heroes’ will also include attribute and champion enhancements in the set, such as:
* Severing Monstrosity: for the Abomination attribute, where the monstrosity equips an axe to deal additional cleaving damage. Players will receive 1 Kalista and 1 Nunu.
* Death March: allows Thresh to hook onto the furthest enemy and deal additional damage on his next attack, evoking his gameplay experience from League of Legends.

‘Renacer: Dawn of the Heroes’ is the second set rebirth in Teamfight Tactics. Earlier this year, TFT released set 3.5 ‘Renacer: Galaxies’ to kick off the set rebirths, and players welcomed this new initiative after another beloved mid-set. During its launch weekend, ‘Renacer: Galaxies’ reached almost half of the total game hours.

‘Judgment Day: Dawn of the Heroes’ (set 5.5) was the mid-update of the 5th set, Teamfight Tactics: Judgment Day, which was released in July 2021. This memorable update introduced mechanics that have become central elements of TFT, such as Radiant Items, Divine Blessing, and Attribute Tome.

‘Renacer: Dawn of the Heroes’ will be available with patch 14.19 (September 25, 2024) and the sun will set on ‘Renacer: Dawn of the Heroes’ with patch 14.21 (November 4, 2024).

“With Renacer: Dawn of the Heroes, we can’t wait to see players go back in time to relive an iconic moment in the game where these mechanics were completely innovative, even though they are now a fundamental part of what makes TFT such a special and fun game today,” says Christina Jiang, senior production manager of Teamfight Tactics.

Riot Games has prepared a video called “Development and Laughter,” where Christina Jiang, senior production manager, and Keane Tan, lead game designer, discuss the goals they want to achieve with set rebirths and delve deeper into the features of ‘Renacer: Dawn of the Heroes.’

Additionally, this video also includes information about ‘Relogelio Challenges,’ an experimental PvE mode, presented by Matthew Wittrock, lead game designer, and Philip Lamkin, game design engineer.
