Hidden Away Hotels, a renowned luxury chain led by Carmen Cordón and Ignacio Jiménez, has announced its ambitious expansion plan through a leasing model, starting with the Cavalta Hotel. This five-star establishment, located in the iconic neighborhood of Triana in Seville, marks a milestone in the company’s growth strategy, which experienced an increase of over 10% in revenue during the year 2024. To lead this new stage, the company has appointed Jorge Jiménez Cordón as Development Manager.
Since its establishment in 2014 with the opening of the Posada Terra Santa Hotel in Palma de Mallorca, Hidden Away Hotels has stood out for its ability to identify emblematic buildings and recover architectural spaces with a rich historical legacy. With a solid track record in creating and managing luxury hotels, the chain has established itself as a benchmark in the industry, offering its guests an authentically local experience through personalized and detailed service.
In its current portfolio, the company has five hotels, four of which are owned, including the Gran Hotel Inglés, the oldest luxury hotel in Madrid; Gravina 51 in Seville; and Seda Club Hotel, the first five-star Gran Lujo hotel in Granada. Additionally, a new five-star hotel is planned to open in Lisbon by 2026, with an investment exceeding 25 million euros. They have also developed two luxury apartment buildings in Palma de Mallorca and operate the Posada Terra Santa under a leasing regime, which was renovated in 2024.
The Cavalta Hotel, which kicks off the leasing expansion, is part of Small Luxury Hotels of the World and is distinguished by its early 20th-century architecture, designed by the renowned architect Ramón Balbuena and Huertas. This hotel will offer 12 luxurious rooms, along with the Alzalí ‘Garden Club’ terrace, a restaurant recognized by the Michelin Guide, and various high-level amenities.
To ensure the success of this new strategy, Hidden Away Hotels has added Jorge Jiménez Cordón, an expert in development with extensive experience in the hotel sector. His addition will be key to identifying new growth opportunities and ensuring that projects are developed effectively. Alongside him, Jordi Caralt, corporate general manager, leads a team committed to operational excellence and business profitability.
Looking ahead, Hidden Away Hotels plans to expand in cities where it is already present and in new destinations such as San Sebastián, Bilbao, and Barcelona. The strategy will focus on leases, although they are also open to other forms of collaboration depending on the characteristics of each project. With this expansion, the chain aims to strengthen its position in the luxury market, without losing the essence of singularity and authenticity that has characterized it since its foundation.
