Windows 11 Insider Preview: Announcement of Build 26200.5570 in the Dev Channel

Microsoft has announced the release of the new version of Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 26200.5570 (KB5055632), targeted for the Dev channel. This update includes a series of new features, improvements, and fixes that will be gradually implemented for users who have activated the option to receive the latest builds from the Windows Update settings panel.

Among the most notable features of the update is a new profanity filter for the voice dictation function. This filter, which adapts to user suggestions, allows users to enable or disable the substitution of offensive words with asterisks. Users can easily manage this option from the dictation tool settings menu.

Another significant innovation is the introduction of “Click to Do,” currently in testing phase. This feature will allow users to configure their digital pen to open the application with a single click and can also be added to the quick access menu of the pen.

Additionally, improvements have been made to Windows search, which now allows for more efficient search in OneDrive for work or school accounts. The update will only display matches in the text of files in the cloud, excluding images. Accessibility technologies have also been grouped in the accessibility menu, making them easier to identify and use.

The update includes several bug fixes, such as addressing an issue where certain applications appeared blank, as well as fixes related to Windows Hello and the touch keyboard. System settings have also been improved, ensuring better overall performance.

However, Microsoft has warned about some known issues that may affect users, such as difficulties starting in safe mode and errors related to Xbox drivers that may cause system crashes. For those interested in participating in this testing phase, the company reminds that updates in the Dev channel are continuous and may include features that will not be released in final versions.

This update represents a further step in Microsoft’s commitment to improving the user experience on Windows, providing Insiders with the opportunity to access the latest innovations and provide their feedback for the development of future versions of the operating system.
