Galaxy IA now supports more languages after the latest update.

Samsung Electronics has announced today the upcoming expansion of its Galaxy AI to three new languages: Arabic, Indonesian, and Russian, as well as three new dialects: Australian English, Cantonese, and Canadian French. In addition to the 13 languages already available, this expansion will allow more Galaxy users around the world to harness the power of mobile artificial intelligence. Furthermore, Samsung plans to add four new languages by the end of this year, including Romanian, Turkish, Dutch, and Swedish, as well as traditional Chinese and European Portuguese.

“Committed to democratizing mobile artificial intelligence for all, the language expansion of Galaxy AI this year will enable more Galaxy users to communicate beyond linguistic barriers on a unique scale for Samsung,” said TM Roh, President and Head of Mobile eXperience Business at Samsung Electronics. “We will continue to innovate with our technology and pioneer premium mobile AI experiences so that more users are equipped with the right tools to unlock their unlimited potential.”

Samsung includes several advanced features in Galaxy AI:
– Live Translate: Enables real-time bidirectional voice and text translations during phone calls, making it easier to book services while traveling or communicate with grandparents in their native language.
– Interpreter: Instantly translates live conversations through an easy-to-use split-screen view, allowing people to read a text translation of what the other person is saying.
– Chat Assist: Helps refine conversational tones by generating contextual suggestions that ensure communication sounds as intended, whether it’s a polite message to a colleague or a catchy phrase for social media.
– Note Assist: Creates AI-generated summaries, pre-formatted templates, and cover pages, elevating daily productivity.
– Transcript Assist: Uses voice and text recognition technology to transcribe, summarize, and even translate voice recordings.
– Browsing Assist: Helps stay up-to-date with what’s happening in the world by generating concise summaries of news articles or web pages, saving time.

Starting in April and over the next few months, the new languages and dialects of Galaxy AI will be available for download as a language pack through the Settings app. For more information on Galaxy AI, you can visit the Samsung Newsroom, Samsungmobilepress.com, or Samsung.com.
