Samsung Unveils the Innovative Smart M9 Monitor with AI-Powered QD-OLED Display

Samsung Electronics has launched its new line of Smart Monitors, highlighting the M9 model as its main innovation, along with updates to the M8 and M7 models. This series introduces QD-OLED technology for the first time in the M9, as well as AI-powered tools that allow for a more personalized experience for both work and entertainment.

Hoon Chung, Executive Vice President of Samsung Electronics’ Visual Display business, stated that the Smart Monitor series continues to evolve to meet the needs of users in their various daily activities. According to Chung, the M9, with its sophisticated technology, provides a more refined and responsive viewing experience in a single versatile device.

The Smart Monitor M9 features a 32-inch 4K QD-OLED panel, offering deep contrast and vibrant colors that ensure an immersive experience, whether for working, viewing content, or gaming. It also includes the OLED Safeguard+ system, which protects the screen and minimizes the risk of burn-in. Its anti-glare finish further enhances visibility in brightly lit environments.

Among the standout features, the M9 includes AI Picture Optimizer, 4K AI Upscaling Pro, and Active Voice Amplifier Pro, which adjust image and sound quality in real-time based on content and the environment. This versatility transforms the monitor into not just a work device but a true smart entertainment hub, allowing access to various streaming applications and the Samsung Gaming Hub for cloud gaming without the need for consoles or PCs. Its refresh rate of 165Hz and an astounding response time of 0.03ms make it an attractive choice for gamers.

The M8 and M7 models also offer 32-inch 4K UHD displays, combining image quality with smart features. These devices provide tools like Click to Search and are compatible with SmartThings, facilitating interaction and multi-screen control.

The new monitor series will be available in 32-inch sizes and will begin rolling out in global markets starting this month. Samsung has promised extended support, offering One UI Tizen updates for up to seven years, ensuring that users can enjoy the latest innovations over time.
