Kvik launches Compose, its most customizable and accessible kitchen, made with recycled materials.

The Danish company Kvik has unveiled Compose, a new kitchen line that prioritizes custom design, sustainability, and affordability. With up to 64 possible combinations of colors and handles, Compose establishes itself as the brand’s most versatile and adaptable kitchen, without sacrificing quality or the signature Nordic style.

Detail-Oriented Customization with Danish Design

Compose allows for a wide variety of configurations through the combination of 8 front colors, such as the new nordic light (inspired by natural oak) or nordic glow (with a warm walnut tone), and 8 choices of integrated metallic handles. These combinations enable the creation of unique kitchens tailored to each user’s style. Additionally, the model comes in versions with 2 or 3 drawers, and Kvik has developed a digital visualizer on its website to facilitate the selection of finishes.

Extra Space and Competitive Pricing

Despite its design focus, Compose also stands out for its value for money. The XL by Kvik modules offer 15% more useful space by utilizing the plinth, while the XXL version offers an additional 40% capacity thanks to its greater depth, all at a moderate cost.

“Compose’s goal is for everyone to create their own harmony in the kitchen without compromising on design or budget,” says Claus Johnsen, the Category Management Director at Kvik.

Aesthetics, Ergonomics, and Sustainability

The integrated handles have been exclusively developed for this line, combining ergonomics, a discrete aesthetic, and easy maintenance. Their placement at the back of the fronts enhances the visual cleanliness of the design. Additionally, the system allows for a quick and economical way to update the kitchen’s style by simply changing the handles.

The fronts—except in white—include black edges that add cohesion and elegance to the whole set.

Manufactured with Ecological Awareness

Compose is made entirely in Europe from recycled and FSC® certified wood, as well as an innovative matte finish surface created from recycled PET bottles. This technology ensures durability and an aesthetically pleasing velvety finish.

In line with its environmental commitment, Kvik includes in every quote details such as the number of recycled bottles used and the carbon footprint (CO₂e) of each component, including the countertop.

With Compose, Kvik strengthens its commitment to a sustainable, affordable kitchen with Scandinavian design, suited to modern lifestyles and designed to become the true heart of the home.
