Quironprevención and the UAX Educational Group have established an agreement to create a Higher Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention, a qualification aimed at preparing senior technicians in workplace safety and health. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education, this training will begin in September 2025 and will last for two years.
The program will be distinguished by its hybrid format, combining online training accessible from anywhere in Spain with 500 hours of in-person practical training at Quironprevención centers. Upon completing the training cycle, students will be qualified to perform duties as Senior Technicians in Occupational Risks, in accordance with Royal Decree 39/1997.
The course content will cover a wide range of subjects, from occupational risk management and emergency response to training in prevention and learning skills in English, new technologies, and communication. Additionally, all modules will be taught by professionals with experience in the sector, ensuring an effective connection with the business environment.
Ignasi Colindres, Business Director of Quironprevención, highlighted that one of the main benefits of this initiative is the integration of future professionals into the job market. On his part, David Martín Ruiz, Academic Director of Vocational Training at UAX Educational Group, emphasized that this new Higher Degree represents a strong commitment to quality vocational training that aligns with current market demands. Collaborations with industry leaders are part of the UAX Group’s strategy to ensure the training of professionals that are currently needed.
