LiberNovo has enthusiastically announced that their ergonomic chair, the LiberNovo Omni, has been awarded the prestigious iF DESIGN AWARD 2026 in the Product Design – Beauty/Wellness category. This recognition highlights the innovation and functionality of the design, as well as the user experience, making the iF DESIGN AWARD one of the most prominent design competitions worldwide.
The LiberNovo Omni has been developed with the aim of transforming the sitting experience during long hours. Unlike conventional chairs, this dynamic ergonomic chair does not force its users to maintain fixed postures, but continuously adapts to the body’s natural positions and encourages movement throughout the day.
This award-winning model incorporates intelligent ergonomic technologies designed to improve comfort and spinal health. One of its key components is the Dynamic Support system, which automatically adjusts the chair in response to the user’s posture changes. In addition, its adjustable ergonomic frame ensures proper spinal alignment during prolonged use.
The LiberNovo Omni fits into a growing trend in modern workspaces, where sedentary behavior can lead to serious health problems. Thanks to its human-centered design and advanced engineering, this chair not only promotes physical well-being, but also advocates for productivity and natural mobility.
The LiberNovo design team, under the direction of Zhenxu Wang and in collaboration with Kairos Innovation, set out to create a new standard in ergonomic chairs that transcend traditional support, emphasizing the dynamic interaction between the chair and the user.
The iF DESIGN AWARD, established in 1954, is globally recognized as a symbol of design excellence. Each year, the jury, composed of international experts, evaluates thousands of submissions from different countries, and in 2026, more than 10,000 entries were presented, making this recognition particularly significant.
Achieving this award strengthens LiberNovo’s mission to innovate in ergonomic seating design, responding to the need to create work environments that prioritize both performance and long-term well-being. The company is dedicated to improving the way people sit, work, and move, always seeking advanced solutions that align with the demands of the contemporary workplace.
