Achieving Excellence in Sustainability and CSR with its Gold Rating from EcoVadis

Lamp, a company known for its innovative approach in the lighting industry, has recently confirmed its dedication to sustainability and social responsibility by securing the EcoVadis Gold rating for the third consecutive year. This prestigious assessment system places Lamp in the top 5% of companies for sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) performance globally. Initially awarded in 2021, this honor has been reinforced with an impressive 16-point increase in their score from the previous year, underlining significant progress in environmental practices and the promotion of human rights.

EcoVadis scrutinizes the performance of roughly 100,000 companies across over 160 countries, leveraging a methodology founded on global sustainability standards. This comprehensive evaluation covers critical areas like the environment, labor practices and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Lamp’s improved ranking highlights its ongoing commitment to ethical and responsible business operations.

David Testar, COO of Lamp and a member of the company’s sustainability committee, remarked that this achievement underscores the path they have been forging for years. Through its strategic agenda, #WorktitudeForLife, Lamp aims to make a positive impact on its surroundings, focusing on minimizing its environmental footprint in product design and fostering ethical synergies at the social level.

Ignasi Cusidó, Lamp’s CEO, emphasized the company’s culture of continuous improvement, asserting that its management strategies are designed to make a positive contribution to society and the environment.
