Ape Group Will Invest 7 Million in Its Bath Division to Grow by 25% in 3 Years

The Castellón-based company APE Group has revealed its plans to revitalize the brand Ilbagno, aiming to expand in the bathroom sector. With a planned investment of seven million euros for the first half of 2026, the company seeks to consolidate this new division, which will complement its main activity in the ceramic industry. This strategic move aims to increase turnover by 25% over the next three years.

The injected capital will be used to strengthen operational structures, enhance product development, and optimize the service capacity of the newly launched bathroom sector, ensuring a solid and sustainable presence in the market. Ilbagno aims to diversify its range with about 400 references, including furniture, sinks, countertops, faucets, mirrors, and bathtubs, with the goal of offering comprehensive solutions that meet the growing demand for modern and functional bathroom spaces.

With over thirty years of experience in product design and development, APE Group trusts its strong professional channel as a key ally for the rollout of Ilbagno’s new offerings. This channel, which has historically collaborated with the group’s ceramics, seeks innovations in bathroom solutions, which will facilitate the transition and acceptance of new products.

Although ceramics will remain at the heart of APE Group’s operations and be its primary source of income, venturing into the bathroom sector represents a strategic expansion of the business, adding categories that will enrich the company’s overall proposition. This evolution aligns with a strategy of sustainable growth, aimed at consolidating the group’s leadership in the ceramic market while at the same time expanding its operational capacity.

Currently, APE Group operates under five main brands: APE, Carmen, and XLINING in ceramics; Ilbagno for bathroom products; and Vlook for SPC vinyl flooring. The new bathroom division is envisioned to be one of the main engines of development in the near future, strengthening its image as a benchmark in home design.

This relaunch of Ilbagno coincides with recent changes in the leadership of APE Group, including the appointment of David López as the new CEO. This restructuring seeks to strengthen the group’s management, supporting its future growth and diversification processes.
