On September 21st, the Jamboree Hall in Barcelona was the stage for a unique musical event that brought together some of the best freestyle performers in Spain. The “I Freestyle Sessions”, organized by Broster Records, offered a night full of creativity and talent, promoting an innovative format within the world of improvised rap.
Among the featured artists was Bailén Mora, a member of the group 12 Carpas, who took the stage accompanied by DJ Gerr. Together, they managed to ignite the audience with a performance full of energy that fused different musical styles, from classic rap to dancehall. The synchronization and chemistry between the rapper and the DJ were evident, turning their performance into one of the highlights of the event.
The “I Freestyle Sessions” stood out from the traditional rap battles by proposing a competition in which personal confrontation was set aside. Instead, the rappers improvised on proposed themes, promoting a more creative and friendly atmosphere. This innovative format allowed the participants to demonstrate their lyrical skills and their ability to adapt to random topics.
The grand final brought together Paco aka “Lázaro” and Mr. Aitor, two of the best talents of the night. After an exciting contest, Lázaro emerged victorious, leaving a great impression on the audience and receiving recognition from the jury for his ability to improvise and maintain a steady rhythm.
On the other hand, Bailén Mora does not stop there and is already working on a new musical project with DJ Gerr. This joint work will consist of four tracks that promise to explore new sounds and continue to strengthen the creative alliance between both artists.
