BME presents Greening, Revenga Smart Solutions, Seresco, and Cox Energy at the European Small & Mid-Cap Awards.

Yesterday, on the first day of the Medcap Forum, BME announced the four Spanish listed companies that will compete for the European Small & Mid-Cap Awards. The candidates are Greening, Revenga Smart Solutions, Seresco, and Cox Energy, all belonging to BME Growth. These awards, organized by the European Commission, EuropeanIssuers, and FESE, aim to increase the visibility of small and mid-cap listed companies, promoting good practices and encouraging these companies to access financial markets.

Since its creation in 2013, the European Small & Mid-Cap Awards have sought to highlight the importance of SMEs in the European economy. Currently, over 98% of EU companies are small and medium-sized, representing two-thirds of employment and nearly 60% of the region’s GDP.

Greening, nominated in the International Star category, is a vertically integrated energy company that generates 74% of its revenue outside of Spain. In 2023, its Ebitda tripled and its consolidated revenues more than doubled.

Revenga Smart Solutions, a candidate in the Star of Innovation category, develops technology for Intelligent Mobility. It has invested over 20 million euros in innovation in the last 15 years, and its project portfolio has reached 150 million euros.

Seresco, nominated as Rising Star, specializes in complex and essential technological solutions for public and private entities. With over 800 employees and more than 3,000 clients, it grew by 24% in revenues in 2023 and focused on its internationalization towards Portugal and Latin America.

Cox Energy, nominated in the Star of 2024 category, is a platform focused on solar photovoltaic renewable energy generation. Operating in multiple countries, it has shown solid growth, with a 180% increase in revenues during 2023 and a 300% increase in the first quarter of 2024.

The Medcap Forum, which is holding its second day today, aims to boost the visibility of Spanish small and mid caps, bringing together over 150 investors and 105 companies. Scheduled activities include panel discussions on investment opportunities, active management, and the real estate sector. Tomorrow, the event will conclude with panels on the importance of IPOs and the Net Zero 2025 Objective, as well as private meetings and Discovery meetings between companies and investors.
