The prestigious RHEvolution Congress of Cedered celebrated its twelfth edition, attracting nearly 200 HR and Occupational Health and Safety executives. Under the theme “Evolution and Revolution in people management”, the event stood out in the sector, also commemorating the 50th anniversary of Cedered. This meeting sparked debates on current practices, their history, and their future, also focusing on safety and well-being in the workplace.
José María López Rodríguez, CEO of Cedered, opened the congress thanking collaborating entities such as Grupo DKV, Cuatrecasas and Fundación Caja Rural de Zamora, and highlighting the importance of sharing successful practices in talent management. The initial focus of the day was on advancements and challenges in HR, with topics ranging from labor flexibility to collective bargaining and alternative dispute resolution. Prominent speakers such as Federico Tresierra from MSD Salamanca and Francisco López-Díez, a specialist in strategic mediation, offered their expert analysis.
One of the most memorable moments was the intervention of Elena García Armada, CEO of Marsi Bionics, who demonstrated how technological innovations can improve quality of life, illustrating the interrelation between technology and the labor sector. Likewise, Igor González de Galdeano, former professional cyclist, enriched the debate by sharing his insights on talent detection and retention based on his experiences in elite sports.
The continuation of the congress delved into the challenges of Occupational Health and Safety, starting with Carlos de la Torre from Gómez Acebo y Pombo, followed by a panel on diversity and inclusion with leaders from Diversitas Group and the Generational Observatory. Additionally, contemporary projects in organizational leadership were explored with notable participation from Ricardo García from Benteler and Sergio Alanís from Skretting. Javier Fernández Aguado, an expert in leadership, closed the day with a reflection on the differences between being a true leader or a tyrant within organizations.
