MAPFRE has taken a significant step by establishing a collaboration with the main cinema chains in Spain, Cinesa, Cine Yelmo, and Kinépolis, with the aim of offering its members reduced rates in over 1,000 theaters in the country. This alliance is part of the initiatives of Club MAPFRE, which seeks to make the cinematic experience more accessible and affordable.
Since the beginning of this year, Club MAPFRE members have been enjoying discounts not only on movie tickets but also on regular products such as popcorn and drinks, as well as accessing exclusive promotions. Members who purchase tickets can accumulate Tréboles, the insurer’s loyalty currency, which translates into future discounts on their insurance and, thus, additional savings for their customers.
The creation of these partnerships highlights Club MAPFRE’s commitment to facilitating access to culture and quality entertainment, benefiting both large cities and smaller towns. In the last year, it has been reported that members purchased over 86,500 discounted cinema tickets, a figure that demonstrates the success of this initiative.
Francisco Villén, Director of Loyalty at MAPFRE Spain, stated that promoting culture is essential and that cinema should be accessible to everyone. Villén also emphasized that this agreement not only provides an immediate benefit but also offers the opportunity to accumulate Tréboles which, over time, can result in lower insurance costs.
Details on how to access these discounts are available to members through Club MAPFRE’s communication channels, as well as in the Savings and Unique Services for Clients section. This collaboration positions MAPFRE as one of the insurers with the largest loyalty program in Spain, where it has 7.4 million customers and a network of nearly 3,000 offices, offering personalized advice in various areas.
