Cohitech Receives the SME of the Year Award 2025 in Barcelona.

At a recent event, the Spanish Chamber of Commerce and Banco Santander held the IX edition of the SME of the Year Award 2025, an accolade that highlights the crucial contribution of small and medium-sized enterprises to economic development and job creation in the country. This year, the award was given to COHITECH, a company dedicated to the manufacture of menstrual hygiene products made from 100% organic cotton.

Ramón Vendrell, founder and entrepreneur of COHITECH, received the award and emphasized the importance of taking care of women’s health in his speech, as well as the responsibility his company assumes in this area. “Every day we work to offer intimate health products that are safe, sustainable, and accessible,” Vendrell mentioned, also highlighting the company’s over 19 years of history.

COHITECH is characterized by its commitment to quality, ensuring a meticulous selection process from cotton harvesting to manufacturing, which has allowed them to obtain various environmental and quality certifications. Some of its most recognized brands include Farmaconfort, Masmi Natural Cotton, and Silvercare, as well as their recent launch, Cottonlock.

This recognition underscores the daily efforts of SMEs, which continue to be a fundamental engine in the Spanish economy, contributing innovation and employment in an increasingly competitive environment. The distinction awarded to companies like COHITECH highlights not only their commercial success but also their dedication to providing responsible and sustainable products.
