DEKRA, a recognized global entity specialized in testing, inspection, and certification, has sealed a strategic alliance with BIC EURONOVA, the European Center for Business and Innovation in Malaga, with the aim of enhancing the competitiveness of Chinese companies internationally. This agreement, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), focuses on addressing challenges and fostering the adoption of sustainable practices by companies.
The announcement of this collaboration took place during the Expo on Carbon Neutrality 2024, an event highlighting both organizations’ commitment to environmental sustainability. The signing of the agreement was attended by prominent representatives, such as Ms. Lu Gan, Director of BIC EURONOVA China division, and Paulson Wei, General Manager of Sustainability Management and Audit Systems at DEKRA China.
The main goal of this coalition is to offer joint services that facilitate companies’ compliance with international regulations and standards, especially in the field of sustainability. By utilizing their combined resources and technical expertise, DEKRA and BIC EURONOVA will promote innovative collaborations in sectors such as industrial companies, buildings, and parks, positioning themselves as leaders in promoting sustainable practices globally.
Ms. Lu Gan expressed BIC EURONOVA’s commitment to business innovation since its inception as an initiative of the European Commission, highlighting its alignment with strategic plans such as the European Green Deal. Since its establishment in China in 2022, BIC EURONOVA has focused on creating a strong link between Europe and Asia, promoting sustainable development and ecological transformation.
Paulson Wei emphasized DEKRA’s privileged position thanks to its global experience in inspection and certification, which will support Chinese companies in aligning with international standards. This collaboration aims to drive improvements in strategic sectors such as automotive, industrial, and personnel certification, advancing sustainability and regulatory compliance.
DEKRA, founded in 1925 with the initial goal of ensuring road safety, has grown to become the largest independent organization in its field globally.
