Dexis Presents Cutting-Edge Innovations at IDS 2025

DEXIS, one of the leading companies in the dental imaging technology sector, has confirmed its participation in the International Dental Show (IDS) 2025, which will take place in Cologne, Germany. This event serves as a key platform for the company to showcase its latest range of innovations within the DEXIS digital ecosystem, which is based on artificial intelligence and designed to optimize digital workflow in dentistry, spanning from initial diagnosis to treatment delivery.

DEXIS President Robert Befidi expressed excitement for the innovations to be presented, emphasizing that each technology aims to improve patient interaction and increase the effectiveness of dental consultations. Significant updates are expected to be introduced during the event, including a new model called Imprevo, which promises to transform the scanning experience with its redesigned design and advanced AI algorithm.

Among the new releases is IS ScanFlow 2.0, the latest version of the software that accompanies DEXIS intraoral scanners. This update will include an innovative tool called Smile Visualizer, allowing patients to visualize how their smile could look after treatments, facilitating understanding of dentist recommendations.

Additionally, DEXIS plans to announce enhancements to its product ORTHOPANTOMOGRAPH™ OP 3D™ EX, which will now include the ability to obtain cephalometric images. This modality will provide necessary projections for different diagnoses, ensuring fast scan times and limiting radiation dosage. An automatic dose control will also be featured in the ORTHOPANTOMOGRAPH™ OP 3D™ LX, adjusting exposure levels based on patient anatomy to obtain high-quality images while minimizing radiation exposure, a highly valued feature among industry professionals.

In the software realm, DTX Studio™ Clinic will also receive significant updates, including a set of tools aimed at streamlining implant treatment planning and automated generation of surgical templates in less than three minutes. This solution will allow for smoother integration of patient data, thus improving consultation efficiency.

Event attendees will have the opportunity to firsthand experience future innovations in DTX Studio Clinic, including AI-based tools that enhance diagnostic and treatment accuracy in endodontics, as well as updates in focal area detection in intraoral radiographs.

DEXIS invites all dental industry professionals to visit their booth at Hall 11.2 K050 L069, where their team of experts will be available to provide demonstrations and information about their latest innovations. With over 165,000 solutions implemented globally, DEXIS continues to lead in quality and reliability in the dental imaging sector.
