Divina Seguros Announces Call for Sharing Graphic Material of the DANA at Traveling Exhibition

The city of Valencia is preparing to host the exhibition titled “Mud. Perspectives on What Was Lived,” an initiative by Divina Seguros in collaboration with CaixaBank. This exhibition aims to give a voice to those who suffered the devastating floods that occurred on October 29, 2024. The opening is scheduled for October, coinciding with the first anniversary of this natural disaster, and will take place at the CaixaBank headquarters located on Pintor Sorolla, before traveling to various cities across Spain.

Until September 15, all citizens interested in participating are invited to submit their photographs and videos related to the floods. A specific platform has been set up to collect this material. This exhibition not only seeks to reflect the impact of the disaster but also to gather testimonies from those who experienced it firsthand, including victims, volunteers, family, and friends.

The exhibit will be curated by Pedro Vicente-Mullor, a renowned Doctor of Fine Arts and expert in photographic exhibitions, ensuring a professional and artistic approach to the selection and presentation of the material. Additionally, it has the support of the Polytechnic University of Valencia and the Institute of Heritage Restoration, adding significant value to the initiative.

Participants are encouraged to submit graphic material that documents the reality of the floods, whether in the form of photos or videos, from the moment of the tragedy to the present day. The theme is open as long as it is related to the experiences of the affected citizens. The guidelines for participation are available on the website created specifically for this call.

Divina Seguros, with over 65 years of experience in the sector, has demonstrated its commitment to solidarity and assistance in cases of natural disasters. From the beginning, the insurance company has been present in providing support and assistance to those affected by the floods. With “Mud. Perspectives on What Was Lived,” the organization reaffirms its social commitment, seeking not only to document the tragedy but also to promote a healing process through art and collective memory.
