Drop in Concrete Prefabricated Consumption of Three Percent Until April, According to Andece.

Here’s the translation:

The National Association of the Prefabricated Concrete Industry (ANDECE) has released its statistics on the consumption of prefabricated products up to April of this year, reflecting a diverse dynamic in the sector. At the national level, the use of these materials has decreased by 3% compared to the previous year, highlighting the need for a more thorough analysis of current trends.

Among the autonomous communities, Aragón, Valencia, and Navarra stand out with consumption increases exceeding 10%, suggesting a positive trend in these regions. However, the picture is not uniform. Extremadura has seen a significant drop in its consumption, alongside declines recorded in Castilla-La Mancha, Castilla y León, the Basque Country, and other communities such as Andalusia, the Balearic Islands, Cantabria, and Galicia. These variations indicate a competitive and diversified behavior in the prefabricated market across the country.

In response to these changes, ANDECE is organizing the ANDECE 2025 Forum, aimed at promoting sustainable construction and the use of prefabricated products. The first session, focusing on building construction, will take place on September 23 at the Official College of Architects of Madrid, while the session on civil engineering will be held on September 24 at the Official College of Civil Engineers, Canals, and Ports of Madrid. Admission to the event is free, and more details and registration can be found on the association’s website.

ANDECE represents over 70% of the industrial business volume in the prefabricated concrete sector in Spain, indicating the relevance and competitiveness of the companies grouped under its umbrella. These companies are in a constant state of modernization and investment in advanced technology, ensuring their ability to adapt to market demands.
