Murcia is preparing to become the epicenter of green entrepreneurship with the celebration of ECODAY Circula y Emprende 2025, as well as the IV Green and Circular Entrepreneurship Meeting. These activities, organized by the City Council of Murcia and the Environmental Business Association of the Region of Murcia (AEMA-RM), will take place on October 30 and November 12, respectively. The main objective of these initiatives is to promote innovation, sustainability, and job creation in the green sector.
The event, which is part of the Municipal Employment and Economic Promotion Plan 2024-2027, will offer attendees various opportunities, including training workshops, specialized advisory services, and networking spaces. The Councilor for Open Government, Economic Promotion, and Employment, Mercedes Bernabé, emphasized the need to turn environmental challenges into development opportunities, reaffirming the City Council’s commitment to responsible entrepreneurship that generates a positive impact.
ECODAY 2025 will be held at the Local Development Agency from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Participants will be able to learn about success stories, interact with mentors, and access resources designed for entrepreneurs. Additionally, the most innovative projects will be awarded training scholarships, coworking spaces, and experiences within the green entrepreneurial ecosystem, thanks to the support of the Technological Center for Energy and the Environment (CETENMA) and Aguas de Murcia.
The IV Green and Circular Entrepreneurship Meeting will take place in the auditorium of Los Molinos del Río. This event is aimed at experts and entrepreneurs in the circular economy and will include presentations by leading professionals, as well as opportunities to present projects and establish connections. With the backing of AMUSAL and OMEP, this platform aims to promote innovation and collaboration in a sustainable environment.
Registration for both events is now open and can be done through the AEMA website and the Murcia City Council portal. With these initiatives, the city reaffirms its dedication to an economic model striving to be more competitive and innovative, aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals.
