Eiffage Energía Sistemas, along with its subsidiaries Inelbo and SGAC, has successfully completed the electrical and control installation of the Roig Arena, Valencia’s new multi-purpose venue. This project highlights the company’s ability to manage complex infrastructures, presenting innovative and efficient solutions that strengthen its position in the industry.
Eiffage’s work included key aspects such as control wiring for lighting and air conditioning, as well as architectural lighting of the facade. A Building Management System was also developed, allowing for centralized control of all the venue’s systems. The project also included an adjacent parking building with eight floors and 1,034 parking spots.
The construction took place over three years, with up to 160 workers during critical phases, showcasing Eiffage’s capability to adapt to high-demand moments. Among the achievements, an automatic switchover system to generators was implemented, ensuring service continuity with centralized control.
The success of the execution is due to several advantages demonstrated by the company: from team scalability to the ability to propose improvements and its experience in management and automation. Reliability and advanced logistics were essential, requiring the coordination of multiple trades in tight timelines.
The Roig Arena positions itself as a cultural and sporting engine for Valencia, projecting the city internationally and stimulating the local economy. Beyond the technical aspects, the venue is expected to leave a social and cultural legacy through sports and educational programs that will energize the area’s urbanization.
José Manuel Martínez, CEO of Eiffage Energía Sistemas, expressed his pride in contributing to this iconic project, highlighting the combination of engineering and innovation that characterizes the work.
