The Electromedical Business Group (GEE), a prominent leader in the maintenance and installation of healthcare technology in Spain, has been awarded the PREVER 2024 Prize, a recognition given for significant contribution to Quality and Occupational Risk Prevention. This prestigious award was presented by the General Council of Industrial Relations and Labor Sciences (CGRICT) in partnership with the Regional Institute of Safety and Health at Work (IRSST).
The award ceremony took place on March 27 during the XXVI Technical Days of Occupational Risk Prevention and Social Responsibility, which also included the presentation of the National and International Prevention Awards “PREVER 2024”. Ana Torres and Patricia Alonso, representatives of GEE, were the ones who received the award on behalf of their team, at an event held at the Higher School of Hospitality and Tourism in Madrid.
This recognition highlights GEE’s unwavering commitment to improving working conditions and promoting a safe and healthy work environment. During their speech, Torres and Alonso stated that “this recognition is the result of the collective work and firm commitment of the entire GEE team to safety, occupational health, and continuous improvement. We strive every day to create safer, more innovative, and sustainable work environments, because we understand that the well-being of people is the driving force behind our growth.”
The PREVER Awards have more than twenty years of history and are recognized as the oldest in Spain in the field of occupational risk prevention. These awards value the contributions of institutions and professionals at both national and international levels. The Minister of Economy, Finance, and Employment, Rocío Albert, and other distinguished personalities were present at this year’s edition.
The award adds to GEE’s trajectory, which has over four decades of experience and a strong commitment to excellence. This Spanish family-owned company, which has more than 1,100 professionals and a presence in over 250 healthcare centers worldwide, maintains a constant focus on innovation and quality, thus consolidating its leadership position in healthcare technology maintenance.
