Envalora Reduces Its RAP Rates for 2026

ENVALORA has announced a significant reduction in its fees for Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), which will take effect on January 1, 2026. This price adjustment reflects the organization’s commitment to sustainability and transparency and has been endorsed by member companies during an Extraordinary Assembly. The new fee structure is designed to promote efficiency and competitiveness in the sector.

The organization, which positions itself as the first authorized Collective System for managing industrial and commercial packaging, has decided to lower its prices compared to the previous year. This decision aims to encourage the prevention, reuse, and recycling of packaging, benefiting more than 2,600 companies that operate under the EPR regime.

The approved fees are clear and easy to understand. For single-use packaging, they will be categorized based on the type of material, category, and hazard level of the contents. Additionally, specific fees have been introduced for drums and large-format containers, which are common in the industrial sector. On the other hand, for reusable packaging, ENVALORA will implement a pioneering model with differentiated fees based on the new Deposit Return System, in accordance with European packaging regulations.

Joan Ros, CEO of ENVALORA, emphasized that the collective commitment of its members has been fundamental in creating a robust and balanced system. Ros highlighted that the new fees demonstrate the strength of the system and will facilitate companies in meeting their legal obligations. Furthermore, bonuses will continue for those that demonstrate proper waste management, which will be beneficial for many companies.

To support its members in 2026, ENVALORA also plans to expand its services. This will include a new empowerment program, allowing the organization to manage the necessary declarations to the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITERD) on behalf of companies. They will also provide advice on EPR in various European countries, which will benefit companies with international operations.

Ros emphasized that sectoral groups will be established to facilitate the exchange of experiences among companies and to anticipate future regulatory changes, as well as to present joint proposals to administrations. This approach reaffirms ENVALORA’s commitment to providing personalized support and advocating for the interests of its members.
