The Swiss consulting firm ERNI, specialized in software engineering, has achieved a remarkable turnover of 21.5 million euros at its Spain headquarters by the end of the year 2024. With 13 years of operation in the country, the company plans to grow by over 10% in 2025, as well as increase its workforce by 20%, reflecting its strong position in a constantly evolving market.
Albert Alsina, general manager of ERNI Spain, notes that this increase in turnover reflects the growth in demand for personalized digital solutions, especially in key sectors such as medical diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology. “At ERNI, there is a commitment to innovation and excellence, which has allowed us to build strong relationships with major global brands and stand out as a leader in the custom digital solutions market,” Alsina highlights.
The company has around 300 employees in its offices in Barcelona, Madrid, and Valencia, and is part of a global network that includes over 800 professionals in 18 locations. This structured model enables them to offer scalable solutions tailored to the specific needs of their clients.
ERNI has achieved sustained growth thanks to its ability to adapt to market demands and its deep knowledge of the sectors in which it operates. The company has also positioned itself as a pioneer in adopting emerging technological trends, such as artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, which has generated a significant increase in demand for solutions that enhance the daily lives of patients and workers.
The focus on innovation and talent will be crucial to ERNI’s strategy in 2025. The consulting firm has implemented training and internal promotion processes to foster talent growth, in addition to offering flexible working conditions that have contributed to employee loyalty. “Talent is the heart of the organization,” says Alsina.
Furthermore, ERNI is making investments in advanced technologies related to Deep Tech, such as artificial intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), and automation. These investments not only expand their technological offering, but also generate added value for both their clients and society as a whole.
Finally, collaboration with major global brands has been key to ERNI’s growth, as they trust the company to develop solutions that optimize critical operations. With its focus on innovation and adaptability, ERNI Consulting Spain is firmly positioned to face a 2025 full of opportunities, reaffirming its status as a leader in the global software engineering industry.
