Esther Finidori Takes on the Role of Sustainability Director at Schneider Electric.

Schneider Electric has announced the appointment of Esther Finidori as the new Chief Sustainability Officer, a position she will assume on June 1, 2025. This move aims to strengthen the company’s commitment to sustainability and solidify its leadership in innovative social and environmental practices.

Esther Finidori will join Schneider Electric’s Executive Committee, taking on the responsibility of developing and implementing the company’s new sustainability strategy. With a remarkable background in sustainability and strategic leadership, Finidori previously held the position of VP of Operations in France, where she drove business strategy, sales excellence, and circular economy initiatives. Her influence has been crucial in shaping the company’s business direction.

Throughout her career, Finidori has held various roles related to sustainability, significantly contributing to the design and execution of environmental initiatives that have led Schneider Electric to be recognized as a leader in the sector. Prior to her joining the company in 2016, she worked as an environmental consultant, specializing in climate change and energy transition. She holds a degree in Engineering from École Centrale Paris and a master’s in Technology Policy from the Judge Business School at the University of Cambridge.
