FCC recognition to ANAR and Save the Children for their fight against Gender Violence in Education.

This morning, in an emotional event held in Madrid, the FCC Group awarded its recognitions to noteworthy organizations that work tirelessly to eradicate gender-based violence. In its seventh edition, the award was given to the Foundation for the Assistance of Children and Adolescents at Risk (ANAR) and Save the Children Foundation, highlighting their dedication to the prevention of this social scourge within the educational field, particularly among children and adolescents.

The ceremony took place at the Corporate Headquarters of Las Tablas, in line with the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, which is commemorated on November 25th. On this significant occasion, FCC reaffirmed its institutional commitment to a zero tolerance policy towards gender-based violence, as well as promoting the social and professional integration of women who have been victims of these situations.

Íñigo Sanz Pérez, CEO of FCC Environment Services, was in charge of presenting the awards to the distinguished organizations. Representing ANAR, Diana Díaz Álvarez, director of the Help Lines, received the recognition. From Save the Children, both Carmela del Moral Blasco, responsible for Childhood Policies, and Alicia Moreno, director of Communication and Fundraising, were present to receive this important award.

The event served as further evidence of ANAR and Save the Children’s commitment to creating safe and protective environments for youth, encouraging a cultural change that advocates for the elimination of any form of violence. The presentation of these awards emphasizes the importance of redoubling efforts and cooperation in education to progress towards a more equitable and violence-free society.
