Financial Results for the Third Quarter of 2025 from Check Point Software

Check Point Software Technologies Ltd., a leader in the field of cybersecurity, has revealed its financial results for the third quarter of 2025, marking notable growth in multiple key metrics. The calculated revenue reached $672 million, representing a 20% increase compared to the third quarter of 2024. Total revenue was $678 million, showing a year-over-year increase of 7%.

Security subscriptions, a vital indicator for the company, also performed well, generating $305 million in revenue, which represents a 10% increase compared to the same period last year. In terms of operating income, Check Point reported GAAP operating income of $199 million and $282 million in non-GAAP operating income, accounting for 29% and 42% of total revenue, respectively. Diluted earnings per share (EPS) reached $3.94 on a non-GAAP basis and $3.28 under GAAP standards, reflecting a year-over-year increase of 79% and 75%, respectively.

Nadav Zafrir, CEO of Check Point, attributed this strong performance to the increased demand for its products, notably the Hybrid Mesh Network and External Risk Management. Additionally, Zafrir announced the acquisition of Lakera, an artificial intelligence-based security platform, which will enhance Check Point’s position in modern cyber defense.

Regarding other financial aspects, the company reported a total of $2.817 billion in cash and marketable securities as of September 30, 2025, compared to $2.873 billion in the same period last year. In the last quarter, the company spent approximately $160 million on the purchase of land for its new campus in Tel Aviv. It also continued its stock repurchase program, buying back approximately 1.6 million shares for a total of $325 million.

Operating cash flow during this quarter was $241 million, adjusted for a one-time tax payment of $66 million due to a settlement agreement for prior tax years. If this payment were excluded, operating cash flow would have grown by 23%.

Finally, Check Point held a conference with investors to discuss these results and its future strategy. The company has scheduled several conferences for the fourth quarter of 2025, where the management team will share more details about its ongoing initiatives and strategies.
