Freshly Cosmetics, Tradeinn, and Casa del Libro: favorite online stores for the eCommerce Awards 2024.

The 15th edition of the ECommerce Awards Spain has broken all its records, with more than 200 national and international projects participating in 13 categories and exceeding 500 nominations, a 40% increase from the year 2023. The 65 finalists have been selected by a jury composed of 40 professionals from the Spanish digital sector.

The awards ceremony will take place on October 4th at the ICEX auditorium in Madrid. “We want this ceremony to be the main meeting point for e-commerce professionals in Spain, where both participants and non-participants feel like an important part of the event,” highlights Rubén Bastón, president of the jury.

Prior to the ceremony, round tables will be held from 9:30 to 12 with the finalists from four categories to showcase their projects. The categories include Best Marketing Campaign, Best Internationalization Strategy, Director of the Year, and Best Commerce 2024. Free invitations are already available on the official awards website.

This year, Freshly Cosmetics, Tradeinn, and Casa del Libro stand out with the highest number of nominations. Freshly Cosmetics is a finalist in five different categories, while Tradeinn and Casa del Libro are finalists in three categories each. Finalists in the Best eCommerce Marketing Campaign category include Brownie, KFC, LG, Powerplanet Online, and Worten.

For the first time, new categories have been included such as Best Social Media Strategy, where Casa del Libro, Confortauto, Craftelier, Freshly Cosmetics, and Leroy Merlin compete for the award. Likewise, the Best Product Sheet category has been added with nominees like Allzone, Casa del Libro, Clicars, Farma2Go, and Freshly Cosmetics.

The ECommerce Awards Spain are organized by Marketing4eCommerce, with the collaboration of Digital1to1 and the support of ICEX. Among the sponsors are Vtex and Webloyalty as Gold Sponsors, and Celeritas, Omniwallet, PayComet, Ctt Express, Sequra, and Tidart as Silver Sponsors. In the Bronze Sponsors category, Fotografía eCommerce and Tradedoubler stand out.

With more than 15 editions behind them, the ECommerce Awards have positioned themselves as the benchmark in recognizing talent and innovation within e-commerce in Spain. The 2023 edition had over 360 nominations from 175 companies and crowned Clicars as the “Best eCommerce 2023.”

The resurgence of e-commerce in Spain is reflected not only in the quantity but also in the quality and diversity of projects, ranging from digital native projects to traditional brands adapted to the digital age. Sectors such as fashion, food, cosmetics, and computing lead the list of participants, indicating a significant growth in the sector.

The gala on October 4th promises to be a memorable event, where awards will be given in each category and the work of finalists and winners will be recognized. The names of the outstanding projects and professionals reveal the rich diversity and high level of competitiveness in the e-commerce industry in Spain.
