Atos has appointed Gabriel Muñoz as the new SAP Director for Spain and Portugal, in a strategic move aimed at strengthening its leadership in intelligent enterprise solutions and accelerating the digital transformation of its clients in the Iberian Peninsula. With over 30 years of experience in the technology sector, Muñoz has distinguished himself through his specialization in the SAP ecosystem, having held senior positions in various companies, both national and international.
Before joining Atos, Muñoz served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Altim TI Consulting and SCL Consulting, where he led teams of more than 80 professionals and managed projects covering business development and key client relationships. His career also includes positions at SoftwareOne, Realtech, now known as Avvale, and SAP Spain, where he was a pioneer in creating the Business Intelligence (BI) unit in the country, establishing himself as an exceptional consultant.
Gabriel Muñoz holds a degree in Management Analysis from the Pontifical University of Comillas (ICAI-ICADE) and complements his education with technical studies in computer science and electronics at the Tajamar Institute. In addition, he possesses various certifications, including AWS Cloud Practitioner and specialized training in SAP.
In his new role, Muñoz will be responsible for the SAP business strategy at Atos, focusing on driving innovation and efficiency through advanced solutions like S/4HANA, Cloud, and analytics tools. His appointment underscores Atos’s commitment to attracting talent with a broad business vision, leadership skills, and deep technological knowledge—essential elements for supporting clients in their digital transformation journeys.
