GexBrok, a renowned insurance brokerage with over 35 years of experience, has taken a significant step in its expansion in Catalonia by completing the integration of Manuel Altés insurance brokerage, located in Barcelona. This event, which was finalized on March 31st, adds a new dimension to GexBrok’s growth strategy in the region, where it has carried out three other integrations in the last three years.
Based in Catalonia with a team of five professionals, GexBrok aims to consolidate its presence in a market characterized by increasing competitiveness. Manuel Altés brokerage, with over 40 years of experience, has established itself as a reference in advising individuals and companies in risk management.
The merger between both brokerages is seen as a milestone in GexBrok’s evolution, which started its journey in Catalonia in 2021. Jesús María García, GexBrok’s business development director, emphasized the trend of consolidation in the sector, highlighting the firm’s commitment to projects that facilitate its expansion. “At GexBrok, we are aware of this phenomenon, but we tackle this process by focusing on projects that, like Manuel Altés’, help us grow,” commented García.
José Ángel Benito, CEO of GexBrok, also highlighted the significant growth the company has experienced in the region during 2025, both in its Elite Network of collaborators and in its own business. According to Benito, the recent integration of Manuel Altés is a testament to the rapid development that has characterized GexBrok in recent times.
Furthermore, GexBrok is a member of the Spanish Association of Insurance Brokerage Firms (ADECOSE) and Cojebro. Since 2020, it has been part of the international group ETL GLOBAL, a firm specializing in tax, legal, and consultancy services, with a presence in over 50 countries. This alliance strengthens its positioning in the European market, particularly in professional services aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises.
