Global Humanitaria provides emergency aid to families displaced by conflict in Lebanon.

In the context of the growing humanitarian crisis in Lebanon, the organization Global Humanitaria has intensified its efforts to provide emergency assistance to the thousands of displaced people in Beirut. These actions have become crucial due to the significant increase of internal refugees fleeing the Israeli army incursions in the south of the country. In recent weeks, more than 100,000 Lebanese have been forced to leave their homes, adding to the 110,000 already displaced by the clashes between Israel and Hezbollah in previous months.

Facing this alarming situation, Andrés Torres, president of Global Humanitaria, has traveled to Beirut with the aim of leading the relief operations directly in the field. His intention is not only to coordinate the distribution of basic supplies, but also to obtain an accurate assessment of the most urgent needs of the affected individuals. According to local reports, people arriving in the capital in search of refuge are facing overcrowded conditions, with inadequate access to shelter, food, and essential resources.

The NGO’s response includes the distribution of over 200 daily food rations to displaced families. This gesture is part of Global Humanitaria’s ongoing efforts to provide aid in critical situations, as it has done previously in crises in places such as Ukraine, Turkey, Morocco, and Syria. The organization is able to sustain this work thanks to the support of its ’emergency partners’, who enable the delivery of essential aid in these complex times.

Global Humanitaria works tirelessly to ensure that the most vulnerable individuals, especially children, can enjoy their fundamental rights. These acts of solidarity aim to offer an opportunity to regain some of the lost stability. The NGO remains firmly committed to equal opportunities and sustainable development of the affected communities, adapting its strategies to respond to the changing circumstances on the ground.

At a critical moment for Lebanon, the humanitarian aid response is seen as a ray of hope for thousands of people struggling to survive amidst the conflict. The international community is watching closely, hopeful that the operations of organizations like Global Humanitaria can alleviate at least some of the suffering this crisis has inflicted on the civilian population.
