GWM Hi4 Tech Family: Winter Off-Road Carnival Star

The GWM Hi4 Tech family shone brightly at the recent Off-Road Ice and Snow Carnival, an event that not only highlighted the brand’s technological innovation but also offered attendees a rich and varied cultural experience. This iconic event became the perfect stage for GWM to showcase its versatility, captivating both industry experts and an audience eager for automotive adventures.

The models of the Hi4 family, including the GWM TANK 300, 400, 500, and 700, as well as the second generation of the GWM HAVAL H9 and the recent pickups GWM POER and GWM SAHAR POER, took center stage during the Carnival. All these vehicles are equipped with advanced off-road technologies, the result of the innovative Hi4 platform, which demonstrated its ability to tackle the most challenging terrains in past international events.

A select group of opinion leaders and content creators from Latin America and other regions joined this unique experience. The day began with an informative session, followed by an exciting off-road driving test. Participants were able to test the power and efficiency of GWM vehicles and fully understand the functioning of their off-road classification technology.

A spokesperson from GWM’s R&D team expressed satisfaction at presenting the Hi4 family in such a challenging environment. “We developed this comprehensive technology because we understand that not all challenges can be solved with a single system. We want to offer versatile solutions that adapt to different driving scenarios,” he commented. He also highlighted that the performance of the Hi4 family has been successfully tested in extreme conditions, both hot and cold.

During the snow test, the Hi4-Z system stood out by offering an astonishing combined power of 715 kW, allowing the TANK 500 model to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4 seconds. With a 3-speed DHT transmission, the performance was optimized on various terrains, while the Hi4-Z platform’s ability to adjust torque distribution in brief moments facilitated navigation in challenging conditions, maintaining outstanding electric range.

In addition to the automotive demonstration, GWM provided attendees with cultural experiences including ice fishing and snow entertainment. Festivities such as the Chinese New Year celebration were highlights, where participants gathered around the stove to enjoy tea and roasted chestnuts, showcasing the 6.6 kW V2L functionality of the TANK 500, which provided power to create a cozy atmosphere.

The combination of advanced technology and cultural experiences has allowed GWM not only to strengthen its presence in the automotive sector but also to establish deeper connections with its global audience. The brand’s philosophy, “Tech With More Life, World With More Love,” has been manifested by transforming each experience into an adventure and each journey into a memorable memory, reaffirming its commitment to the future of mobility.
