Health Education: INESALUD and Euroinnova commemorate World Health Day.

On the occasion of World Health Day, the educational organizations INESALUD and Euroinnova, which are part of the EDUCA EDTECH group, have launched various online awareness and training campaigns focused on health. Under the slogan “Health is also learned, Euroinnova accompanies on the way,” the initiative seeks to promote access to specialized education, while INESALUD aligns with the message of the World Health Organization (WHO) to highlight the importance of maternal and neonatal health.

During this week, both institutions offer a series of free resources, including webinars, podcasts, and downloadable guides, aimed at healthcare professionals, students, and the general public. The central goal is to raise awareness and educate about the challenges facing the healthcare community, while also facilitating access to training in such a crucial area.

Statistics on maternal health are alarming: nearly 300,000 women die each year due to complications during pregnancy or childbirth, and more than four million newborns do not survive the first month of life. Most of these tragedies are preventable through health education and access to a well-structured healthcare system. From the EDUCA EDTECH Group, education is highlighted as a fundamental tool to improve health worldwide.

INESALUD has launched a campaign titled “The importance of maternal and neonatal health,” which includes an informative video presented by Alba Gastón, a specialist in maternal and child health. This audiovisual material addresses key issues such as the most common health problems during pregnancy, strategies to ensure a safe and healthy delivery, as well as myths that can negatively impact the well-being of newborns.

Gastón emphasizes that health education is essential to save lives, as knowing the signs of a high-risk pregnancy and understanding maternal mental health are critical aspects for the well-being of families. Likewise, the need to address perinatal mental health and other non-communicable diseases that affect mothers and babies is emphasized.

The campaign also promotes the use of medical technology and telemedicine as allies in improving healthcare. Both INESALUD and Euroinnova are committed to updating accessible educational content supported by healthcare professionals.

Those interested in accessing the free resources offered during this week can visit the official portals of INESALUD and Euroinnova. This initiative aims not only to raise awareness but also to empower those responsible for caring for life in its earliest stages through knowledge.
